Change resolution

1. Right-click this link (Mac users, press the CTRL key while pressing the mouse button.):
   bird.jpg
   Save bird.jpg in the Fireworks Graphics folder, then open it.
2. On the Menu Bar, click Modify, Canvas, then Image Size.

   

   When the Image Size window appears, note that its resolution is 300 pixels/inch:
