Practice: Publisher Basics

  1. Open Publisher.
  2. Create a new flyer based on the Book Sale Flyer template.

    TIP: It's in the Sale section.
  3. In the Home/Family set of Personal Information, enter your name, address, and phone number.
  4. In the third text box on the right that asks you to describe your location, type detailed directions to your house.

    Example:

    Go West on Main Street to Getzville Road. Turn right (North) on Getzville. The house is on the left.
  5. Enter the sale date of 4/21/07.
  6. Enter the sale time of 10:00.

    When you're done, the flyer should look like this:

  7. Save the flyer in the Practice Publisher Files folder as My Book Sale, then close it.
