1. Click the icon.

    A drawing canvas should appear at the top of the page.

    TIP: A drawing canvas automatically appears when you click on any of the drawing tools. The canvas allows you to move and resize multiple shapes together.

    You can specify whether you want to use the drawing canvas:

    On the Menu Bar, click Tools, then Options.

    When the Options window appears, click the General tab. Then you can check or uncheck the Automatically create drawing canvas when inserting AutoShapes check box.
