Practice: Special Features

  1. Right-click this link (Mac users, press the CTRL key while pressing the mouse button.):

    PartyInvitation.doc

    Download PartyInvitation.doc and save it the Word Documents folder in the My Documents folder.
  2. Open PartyInvitation.doc.
  3. Save the document as Invitation in the Word Documents folder.
  4. Insert a piece of clipart at the top of the document and align it to the right.

    TIP: Search for the word "party" to pick your clipart.
  5. Resize the clipart to approximately 3" in width.
  6. On the line above

    We're located at...

    insert a 2 column, 6 row table.
  7. Enter the following text into the table:

    Agenda

    5-6pm

    Mingle

    6-6:30pm

    Tours to Italy

    6:30-7pm

    Tours to France

    7-7:30pm

    Tours to Spain

    7:30-8pm
