5 Best Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 Alternatives

By John Adebimitan

Way too many users have complained about how fucked up the Gigabyte RGB Fusion has become in recent years. With a lot more users ditching them, the need for high-quality Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 alternatives has skyrocketed in recent months.

If your Gigabyte RGB fusion doesn’t sync with your Aorus Xtreme Edition 1080Ti properly, or you’ve just finished your build, everything seems to work just fine, but programs like the Gigabyte Appcenter and the RGB fusion programs refuse to work. These are some of the things many users are currently dealing with, as, for some reason, this software is increasingly losing traction. Let’s take a look at 5 of the best Gigabyte RGB fusion 2.0 alternatives.

Best Gigabyte RGB fusion 2.0 alternatives – Reviews and Download

  1. JackNet RGB Sync
  2. Corsair iCUE
  3. ASRock Polychrome RGB Sync
  4. MSI Dragon Center and MSI Mystic Light Sync
  5. Aura sync
  6. MSI Mystic Lighting
  7. Asus Aura Sync

JackNet RGB Sync

One of the best out there, and my personal favorite Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 alternative, The JackNet RGB sync, came in handy for my computer build and setup with components produced by different companies, with way too many parts that things get tricky to customize.

Trying to sync my ASUS motherboard RGB and my EVGA GPU wasn’t very easy using the Gigabyte RGB fusion 2.0; in fact, the software was everything wrong.

The JackNet RGB Sync made everything less convoluted and is free software; it’s just one of the best out there. It detects all your RGB components and peripherals, so you’re able to manage them all from one place.

When you start the JackNet RGB Sync program, you will see two columns, one is a long list of available LEDs and a list of already Synchronized LEDs. You can create a new LED group and then choose a master LED while dragging all other LEDs you’d like to match with it into the same column.

JackNet RGB Sync is compatible with Corsair iCUE, ASUS AURA, Razer Synapse, Logitech Gaming, Cooler Master Masterplus, EVGA Precision X1, and MSI Mystic Light.

Corsair iCUE

Quite popular among Corsair users, this RGB sync software can control the RGB lighting and other functionalities of the components of this gaming build. The main reason why we don’t recommend this utility app for some users is that it only controls Corsair accessories and components.

If most of your RGB components are produced by Corsair, then this might be the perfect utility software for you. Changing the RGB lighting, the DPI and setting custom buttons on your gaming mouse is seamless with the Corsair iCUE.

ASRock Polychrome RGB Sync

ASRock Polychrome RGB Sync makes creating cool personalized lighting possible for users. In addition to adjusting the color, area, motherboard, and light effects, the ASRock Polychrome RGB Sync function works well for synchronizing your memory, case, fan, cooler, and other components seamlessly.

The ASRock Polychrome RGB comes with built-in RGB illumination, and it features onboard RGB headers with which you can connect your motherboard to compatible LED devices such as strips, CPU fans, coolers, and chassis.

MSI Dragon Center and MSI Mystic Light Sync

With both coming from MSI, the Dragon Center and Mystic Light sync apps are some of the best utility apps for gaming PCs. The MSI Mystic Light sync is used only for controlling the RGB lighting on your PC build, so if RGB lighting colors and effects are the only things you’re looking to control, then we would recommend that you use only the Mystic Light sync. One of the downsides of the mystic light sync is that it only works with PC builds that have the MSI motherboard running in them.

The MSI Dragon Center, on the other hand, works with all types of motherboards and build components, and it’s more of an all-in-one utility app. You can seamlessly overclock, update software, change, and update gaming modes, so if you’d like a more complete set of tools, irrespective of the maker of your PC build and its components, the MSI Dragon Center is a great option.

ASUS Aura Sync

ASUS has made a name for itself, being one of the few component manufacturers that make game-specific components and accessories, and the ASUS Aura Sync is one of the simplest yet feature-packed RGB sync software on the market. We used the ASUS Aura Sync on our MSI gaming motherboard, one that has components from many different manufacturers, and the ASUS Aura Sync seemed to work just fine.

Some users have complained, though, that this sync doesn’t work on their motherboards, and we generally recommend that they check the label on the motherboard’s box to see if it’s compatible with your motherboard. You can alternatively check the ASUS website for compatibility with your build.
