I picked five of the best gaming headsets with mic for Nintendo Switch. These headsets were selected after considering the sound quality, the quality of the microphone, support for gaming with not only the Nintendo Switch but also your PS4, PS5, Xbox, smartphones, and PCs.

I looked at those gaming headphones that are comfortable on the ears as ear muffs and mics are very important components for me.

A stripdown of our gaming headsets with mic

So let’s take a closer look at each one of our headphones. I’d be showing you some things I loved and some things that I didn’t like as much about these headsets.

Pacrate GH-1 – Best Gaming Headphone with Mic for Ps4

I mainly used this gaming headset for playing Fortnite, Agricultural Simulator, Minecraft, and Roblox, and it performed excellently. It’s also a great addition to Twitch and Discord communication.

The bass is top-notch, it comes with lighting, and it does an amazing job canceling surrounding noise. It was pretty comfortable on the ears as the cushions are made from quality memory foam. Apart from being a great gaming headphone for Nintendo Switch Lite, Pacrate gaming headphone is a great headset for listening to music and watching movies.

You get a 3.5mm jack which splits into 2, one is for the audio and the other is for the microphone.

Overall, I think this Switch Lite gaming headphone is an amazing addition to any gaming setup.

RUNMUS K2 – Best Nintendo Switch Headset with Mic Under $50

The RUNMUS gaming headset comes with 7.1 surround sound capabilities, I loved how it made playing games like Siege, and other FPS shooter games more immersive. You would easily hear your enemies. The bass is also really cool, while the pads on the ears and across the scalp are nicely built.

The device also sports a small volume wheel with which you can control the volume to your heart’s content without having to pause the game first. The materials on the pad are pretty comfortable, soft, and are just perfect for long gaming periods.

The cable is long enough, so you won’t have to go any closer to the computer or gaming console to control your volume.

BENGOO G9000 – Best Gaming Headset for Music

No products found.

The foam padding on the BENGOO G9000 is very comfortable, the length can be adjusted very easily, you also get a USB plug and a headphone jack plug, so whether it is a laptop, or a PS4 or Nintendo Switch, the BENGOO G9000 is a great fit.

The headphone also sports a volume and sound controller, so you can easily mute your mic and reduce or increase the volume without pausing your game. The cable is pretty long, it also sits comfortably both on the ear and the scalp.

I didn’t like that you can only get the blue lights on the headset if you use it with USB. I also felt they could add a mic gain knob to the in-line mute and volume knob.

If you have long hair and you live where the climate is hot, I think you should know that it sometimes get sweaty on your scalp. Lastly, the gaming headset mic only goes on a one-way. I sometimes like it when you can alternate between the right and left sides when using the mic.

Butfulake ENGH0185 – Best Budget Gaming Headset Under $50

The Butfulake gaming headset comes with Surround Sound stereo 7.1. It is a great headphone for PS4, Nintendo eShop Switch and it sports an Omnidirectional Microphone.

For me, the quality of the noise cancellation was the first thing I noticed and I still love about this headset. While playing the NBA 2K, I loved how the headset eliminated the surrounding noise and the noisy discussions my friends were having.

The headphone made the gaming experience generally immersive. The microphone didn’t have issues picking everything I said, some other gamers indicated that I was sounding way clearer.

The one thing I didn’t like was that the headphone doesn’t come with a 3.5mm adapter cord. Having to invest in an adapter cord after getting a headset is not something I will subscribe for. It promises to work with Xbox, but I realized it doesn’t.

RUNMUS K8 – Cheap Noise Cancelling Gaming Headset

No products found.

The first thing you’ll notice about this gaming headset is the blue glow. I loved that it was a plug-and-play headphone for my Nintendo Switch Lite.

The surround sound was perfect for multiplayer and single-player shooter and RPGs. It was great hearing enemy players run through the battlefield. For zombie games, the headset brings out the sound of the decay and the sounds of zombies moving closer. It sports amazing noise cancelation and it is very comfortable on the ear.

If you want to use the LED lights, you’d need to have a USB port very close, and I don’t think I liked that about the headphone. After a few hours of gaming, my ears became hot in it. The wires are also very sensitive at the end. If you are on a multiplayer session, the other players can easily hear the sound from your headphone if the volume is raised very high.

Overall, the RUNMUS stereo gaming headset is an amazing option if you’re looking for gaming headphones with mic for Nintendo Switch Lite.
