Table of contents

Microsoft Word will generate a table of contents based on text that is formatted using the Heading styles.

You must use Styles to generate a table of contents.

1 Go to the first page of the document Bike Fun.

2 Insert a Next Page section break after the word Bicycles.

3 Click the References tab.

In the Ribbon, click Table of Contents, then Automatic Table 2.
